The refrigerator is equipped with thermoelectric exchange technology instead of compressor cooling. The refrigerator is quieter, and emits only a slight sound.
The total capacity of the refrigerator is 295 litres. The fridge compartment holds 209 litres while the bottom-mounted storage freezer provides 89 cubic litres. It is not frost-free, and will need occasional manual defrosting to ensure optimal performance. The 42dB noise score was good. It's a bit more loud than other models, but it is significantly quieter than older fridges we have tested that made lots of noise when running.

Despite being a classic compressor-type model the Swan is quite quiet for its size. We tested it at a modest 42dB while running. This is significantly quieter than models from a decade ago and much quieter than the majority of fridge freezers on our Best Buy chart.
The stability of temperature was also a plus for a refrigerator of this type. The top shelf, middle and bottom all had an average temperature that was within a couple of degrees either side of the maximum figure. The temperature in the salad drawer varied between 5oC to just under freezing.
Like the SR11010, the fridge requires a few times of manual defrost but is classified as A+ for energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient refrigerator freezers in our Best Buy chart, keeping your electric bills to a minimum.
